Everyone Dies......But not Everyone Lives
Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly and kiss slowly, love truly and laugh uncontrollably, never regret anything that makes you smile and life may not always be the party we hoped for but for the while we are here we should dance.....Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck, Illness injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and shear stupidity... ALL occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small test, life would be like a smooth paved, straight, flat road to nowhere, safe and comfortable but, dull and utterly pointless... The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from... In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally not only because they love you but, also because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things. MAKE EVERYDAY COUNT! Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Although it has been a rough ride so far, I have not allowed it to have an effect on me in any negative ways or to any great extent. Not learning from but, instead carrying around a bunch of baggage. I can assure you is not me!!! I am too much of a deep thinker both spiritually and realistically for that matter to let that nonsense drag me down. I am thankful for all my experiences both good and bad. In fact, one of the things I love best about me is my strength of mind and my hearts ability to continue loving someone even when they are not so loveable. I am looking for loyalty, Period! I am always looking to meet new people. I don't know really what to say other than I'm a 23 year old Soldier currently serving another tour in Iraq. Right now I'm in Baghdad patrolling the streets day and night and I'm proud of my job. I just recently was promoted to E-6 SSG and I have been in the Infantry for about 5 1/2 years, 3 of which I have been a sniper.
